Introducing the Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian 2016 receiver, Theo Howard...

Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian 2016 receiver Theo Howard (6-0, 170), figures to be a big part of the Lions' offense this fall.

As a sophomore, Howard was one of their main receivers and should be their go-to-guy this season.

Howard has been receiving some early recruiting interest too from around the country.

"So far, I've gotten letters from Oregon State, Nebraska, Miami, Michigan and UCLA," said Howard.

And a few of those are standing out early.

"I'm mostly interested in Michigan, Oregon State and UCLA," said Howard. "My favorite school growing up was Michigan."

Howard is mostly hearing from schools as a receiver, but could play defense if needed.

"I can play corner and I'll play more of it this year," said Howard. "But I'm getting recruited as a receiver and that's where I'm most comfortable."

Howard is playing 7v7 for the Frat Boyz and said he's enjoying the circuit.

"I'm under the radar a bit so I'm getting some notoriety out there," said Howard.

Last fall, Howard had 24 catches for 391 yards and four touchdowns.

Academically, Howard has a 3.3 GPA.
