The 6-4, 205-pound Pittman will play on both sides of the ball next fall and said he's equally comfortable on either side.
"I plan on playing receiver and safety and I'll fill in at any position," said Pittman. "I'll probably play wideout or safety in college too."
Pittman has early interest in a number of schools plus ties to another.
That's because his father, former NFL running back Michael Pittman, played at Fresno State.
"I've been there a couple of times and plan to go to camps there," said Pittman. "Obviously I grew up watching Fresno State because my dad played there."
His father, who played with the Cardinals, Bucs and Broncos in an 11-year NFL career talks with him constantly about prepping for the next level.
"He preaches it 24/7 what I need to do and what I need to get better on," said Pittman.
Early on, Pittman is favoring the schools in the West.
"I'll go wherever I see fit but my preference is the West," said Pittman.
