The Skinny: Haskins plays with a quiet confidence. He has great frame and is still growing into his body. Haskins is very smooth and makes almost every throw effortlessly. He looked comfortable making throws from the pocket or on the run. The Bullis School star will only continue to get better and has a huge upside.
2. Nick Johns, 2015, 6-3,220, Washington (D.C.) Gonzaga
The Skinny: Johns is a big, strong signal-caller. He showed a quick release, great arm strength and good mechanics all day. Johns was able to fit ball into tight windows and showed good touch on the deep ball. He was also very accurate throwing from the pocket and on the run.
3. Kai Locksley, 2015, 6-4, 180, Baltimore (Md.) Gilman
The Skinny: Locksley is a long, rangy quarterback. He is very athletic and threw the ball well from the pocket, but even better on the run. Locksley showed good accuracy and touch. He is also a leader and plays with great poise.
4. 4. Brandon McIlwain, 2016, 6-1, 205, Newtown (Pa.) Council Rock North
The Skinny: McIlwain really threw the ball well from start to finish. He has a very solid frame and a live arm. . McIlwain also has a good feel for the game and plays with great poise. On top of it all, he's extremely athletic and comfortable in or outside of the pocket.
5. Jamie Newman, 2016, 6-3, 215, Graham (N.C.)
The Skinny: Newman definitely passes the eye test and was equally impressive on the field. He is very strong and showed good athleticism. He also displayed a live arm and looked comfortable throwing short and long. Newman is a prospect with all the physical tools and look for his recruitment to pick up steam in the near future.
