"While I was down there, I finally got to meet Coach Brown and Coach Martin. I also got to meet Jack Harbaugh and John Harbaugh, they were inducted into the Cradle of Coaches down there. I got a picture with him, so that was cool to see the history there."
He added, "I saw the weight room and facilities. They're making an indoor so they don't have to practice in the field house during the Winter. It's good to see they're getting great stuff. They have a nice weight room so they have the tools to make a really good team."
Belden (6'3, 230) has additional offers from Ball State and Indiana, but the Redhawks have one recruiting advantage the other schools don't in the form of good friend and former teammate Mack Duffin who signed with them in the 2014 class.
"Yeah, you know Mack is definitely working me to be a Redhawk. It's really cool because I've played football with Mack since 5th grade and we were friends before that so it would be cool play with him again. It's nice to have that option, but he's definitely recruiting me to come to Miami."
That said, Belden is not expecting to make any decisions at the moment and hopes to throttle back on the visits as well.
"I plan on relaxing. It's been pretty hectic with the whole football thing so I want a little relaxing time to hang out with friends. I haven't been able to see my friends a lot, so I want to relax and take it easy with visits and camps."
