"I have been to North Carolina State for a spring practice and their spring game this year so far and I like it a lot," said Emmanuel Jones. "It is close to home, the campus is nice, and the coaching staff is great."
The Wolfpack have offered Jones, that is his only offer to date. That will change, but N.C. State being first means something to the talented sophomore out of Asheboro, N.C.
"When I found out about the offer, I was happy. I started crying, that is what is meant to me. I was surprised by it and it was a big deal to me."
The 6-foot-2, 180 pound athlete prefers wide receiver, but he could also project as a free safety on the next level. The versatile Jones has a clear favorite early on.
"N.C. State is on top," said Jones. "It was my dream school growing up and I have always liked their colors too. I have now visited a couple of times and I like it there a lot. They are the underdog right now too and I like that."
