Two prospects on the team already hold Division-I offers, but there are a few other players to keep an eye on this spring, including defensive lineman Tolly James.
The 6-foot-3, 245-pound athlete, who plays end for Shoemaker, has been receiving interest from a few programs.
"I've been talking with Texas State, Abilene Christian, UTSA, North Texas, and Oregon State. Of that group, UNT, Texas State, and OSU have been the ones who are recruiting me the hardest and who I think could maybe offer soon," he said.

His summer camp plans aren't set just yet, but James does mention two that he knows he'll attend.
"I'm definitely going to camp at North Texas and Texas State. I just have to wait and see about the rest," he said.
He's had the chance to talk with a few coaches who have been by Killeen and James says that he's expecting more in-state programs to come by.
Aside from recruiting, James has been busy with Shoemakers' spring football and says he's using the time to focus on improving overall as a player.
"This year's spring practices have been going really well. I've been getting bigger and getting faster, so I'm happy with what has been happening," he said.
