North Ridgeville rising junior Demario McCall blew up Sunday at Ohio State's camp, impressing…
First Two For Ohio Speedster
Demario McCall burst onto the scene last year in Ohio as a sophomore, and he put up big numbers from his runningback spot for North Ridgeville. McCall, 5-foot-11, 170-pounds, rushed for over 1,500 yards and scored 25 touchdowns. He is top 2016 prospect in Ohio. "Things are going great for me and I have offers from Pittsburgh and Ohio State," McCall stated. "Pittsburgh came last week and they were in my school to see me. I do like them and I want to get to one of their camps this summer." "The Ohio State offer was great and I have spoken with Urban Meyer," he added. "Getting the offer meant a lot to me, and I couldn't stop smiling when I was talking to Coach Meyer. It was my first offer and it felt great." "My favorite school is Oregon," he admitted. "A lot of people like them because of their uniforms, but I like them because of their style of play and how they run their offense." McCall's film shows the speed and quickness, and his talent is evident. "My strength is speed, quickness, power, and especially my vision," he explained. "I can make cuts going at full speed. I need to work on a lot of things to play at the college level. I need to get bigger, and I want to get faster." "I run the hundred meters and the 4X100 for my team," he continued. "My fastest time in the hundred is 10.53."
