"I have been to South Carolina about eight or nine times now," said Michael Bowman. "I have gotten close with some of the coaches and I fit in well there. I really like the offense and I think I can make some plays in it."
Deke Adams recruits the Havelock, N.C. area, so he is the coach Bowman is in regular contact with. The two talk often and there is not much recruiting going on.
"It is more friendly talk now, not too much recruiting. We just talk about school and other things. I am solid to South Carolina, so they don't have to recruit too much."
Bowman said he still hears from North Carolina and North Carolina State now, but he is only thinking about his future as a Gamecock.
The 6-foot, 190 pound 2015 wide receiver out of Havelock, N.C. is ready to see his future school play this season.
"It is fun watching the offense especially because that is what I will be playing when I get there," said Bowman. "I think I can make some plays in the offense and I ready to see how they do this season. I bring some speed and I will use that when I get there."
Bowman is a 3-Star on Scout.
