Gilmer 2015 cornerback Kris Boyd had a big Tuesday this past week.
The 6-foot-1, 185-pound four-star prospect, who Scout.com ranks as the No. 10 overall recruit in the state's 2015 class, got a Tuesday morning LSU offer before Texas A&M offered him that afternoon.
With the additions of the Tigers and Aggies, Boyd now has 13 offers, including Alabama, Arkansas, Baylor, California, Florida State, Mississippi State, Missouri, Oklahoma, TCU, Texas, and Texas Tech.
Two more East Texans picked up multiple FBS offers this past week: Canton 2015 defensive end Sam Miller and Texarkana Texas High 2015 running back Javon Thomas.
Miller is now up to seven offers thanks to his flurry of offers from North Texas (Wednesday), Louisiana-Monroe (Thursday), Oregon State (Thursday), and Texas State (Saturday).
Thomas got his second and third offers from Rice and Toledo on Tuesday. Thomas already held a Navy offer.
Here's a recap of the rest of the recruiting action in East Texas from May 12-18:
