NU head coach Pat Fitzgerald wraps up Northwestern's fourth preseason practice…
Introducing: David Mack
Doss High (KY.) defensive tackle David Mack is sitting on one scholarship offer at this point. However there are other programs interested in Mack as well as his senior season approaches. David Mack (6-foot-3, 310-pounds) is built like a Mack Truck along the defensive line. The Doss product is one of the better defensive line prospects in Jefferson County. "My strengths as a player are my leadership, attitude and work ethic on and off the field," Mack said. "Last season my year went well. I was All-District Second Team." Mack has been in touch with a couple of programs, one of which has offered him a scholarship. "The schools that are talking to me the most are Austin Peay, Ball State and Tennessee-Martin," he said. "Around the end of February Austin Peay offered me. "I like (Austin Peay) a lot. It's a nice size campus. Everything is all in one place," he continued. Along with the offer Mack feels good about the way his recruitment is unfolding. "I feel like I'm really close to getting offers from Ball State and Purdue. I went on a visit to Austin Peay before. Right now I'm focusing on going to a lot of camps this summer," he finished. Scout.com will keep you updated on David Mack.
