Offers keep on coming in for Mentor (Ohio) defensive tackle Nico Lautanen. UTEP is the latest school…
Ball State Offers Lautanen
The recruitment of Mentor (Ohio) junior Nico Lautanen is heating up. The defensive tackle has added another offer to his list. "I received an offer from Ball State," said Lautanen. "Coach (Joey) Lynch was the one that offered. HE said they he and the staff have watched my film several times and they liked what they saw in me." The junior says that he wasn't really expecting the offer. "I was a little surprised because I was in very little contact with the coaches there, so I wasn't really expecting that," he said. As for his interest in the school, the defensive tackle says he would need to get on campus before he can make his assessment. "I have to visit first to see how much I like it. I think that Ball State could potentially be a good fit. I've done research and watched some film and I really like their style of defense and I believe I could fit right in," said Lautanen. The junior says he plans on visiting in June. Lautanen also holds offers from Akron, Bowling Green, James Madison, Kent State, Miami (Ohio), Ohio and Toledo.
