"It went pretty good," Abram said after the Ole Miss elite camp. "I enjoyed being here. I really did."
What did Abram learn about the Ole Miss coaches while working with them?
"Just to have fun and have confidence. It was my first time here at Ole Miss. They all work together and give it their all. They really do."
The 6' 2", 195-pound two-way player worked at safety during the camp.
"That's where they're recruiting me to play. I feel like I had a good day during the 7-on-7s. I can cover and come up and hit you. We'll see. They said they're going to have some staff meetings the next couple of days and let me know."
Abram has seen his stock sour as of late.
"A couple schools have been calling me. They wanted me to come up to their camps. Louisville offered me. They said I'm pretty agile. I can play several positions. They're recruiting me as an athlete. Southern Miss has also offered me, and like I said, Ole Miss could be getting close."
What had Ole Miss been telling Abrams before the camp?
"They just wanted to see me in person before they offered me. I just want to see where I would stand if I were to go to Ole Miss."
What does Abram know about USM?
"Not much. I've been up there a few times. That's about it."
