UF Commit Eyeing Five Officials

Marcus Lewis

Four-star cornerback Marcus Lewis is committed to Florida, but he plans on making some official visits, and he shared the locations with Scout.com.

Marcus Lewis is committed to Florida, but the four-star cornerback will make a handful of official visits.

Lewis, who played at Washington (D.C.) Gonzaga last season but will play for Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy in the fall, texted Scout.com with his list of five target schools.

The 6-foot-1 1/2, 175-pound Lewis said he will make official visits to Ole Miss, Miami, Florida, Oregon and Maryland.

Lewis did not have dates set, but added the trip to Maryland would be "most likely (during) my by week."

He transferred to IMG Academy because Gonzaga did not offer any early graduation options, and Lewis plans to enroll in college in January. It means he will have to make official visits during his senior season, and perhaps squeeze in a few after it concludes.
