Ulmer talks UK camp
Madison Central High (KY.) tackle Will Ulmer made the trip north to Lexington to camp at Kentucky. The rising junior talked with Scout.com about his performance and what's next. Will Ulmer camped at Kentucky this weekend along with hundreds of other prospects. The 6-foot-5, 270-pound tackle felt like he held his own. "It was a great day of camp," Ulmer said of his UK experience. "It was good to get in there and get more experience with their coaches." Ulmer didn't get to camp at Kentucky last year so this was the first time he's had to face this level of competition. "I love good competition. That's what makes it fun," he said. Ulmer got to talk a little big with Offensive Coordinator Neal Brown and Offensive Line Coach John Schlarman. "I talked with Coach Schlarman. He said he wants me to come back in July. He's said he's going to follow me this season. Coach Browns aid to keep hitting the weights and get bigger," he continued. Ulmer will head southward now to check out another SEC program's camp. "I'm headed to Tennessee next weekend. I figured I'd head to camp and check it out. Maybe get some more exposure," he finished. Scout.com will keep you updated on Will Ulmer.
