Halter Showing Great Improvement
Scout.com has been high on Ohio 2015 offensive lineman Jacob Halter since we first saw him prior to his sophomore year. After watching him in two camps over the past week, we feel he could well be on his way to his first major scholarship offer. How did Halter feel about his performance in front of the Ohio University coaching staff? "I had a good day," he said. "I got a little bit of a slow start to begin with, but ran some good times in the shuttle and we did some offensive drills and defensive drills. I felt I did pretty well at those." What does Halter feel has been his biggest improvement over the past year? "I feel I've improved on my strength the most," he said. "I've worked hard on my footwork so I'll be quick against guys and I'm really just maturing." Halter would be excited about an offer from the Bobcats but also has plans for a couple of more camps. "An offer from Ohio would be awesome," he said. "It would be my first MAC offer. But I'll be attending the Northwestern Showcase on Thursday and the Michigan State Elite Camp on Saturday before taking a little break."
