Shawn Robinson is one of the top high school quarterbacks in America regardless of class. The 2017 standout has visited two schools and will have a busy summer ahead.
"The recruiting process is fun," Shawn Robinson said. "You get to meet and get a feel for a lot of different coaches. It feels great knowing that you're doing something right. Of course I have a lot of work to do, but it's a relief knowing colleges are interested in me. I thank God."
What does Robinson think about his game?
"I'm a dual threat quarterback," Robinson said. "I feel my game is balanced. I can Make the throws and run effectively. I'm just a competitor. I'll do whatever I have to do to get the job done. I plan on working on my footwork, accuracy, speed and getting a great understanding of the offense and knowing it like second nature. This summer I'm going to work on everything, but those that I've listed will be the main focus."
Numerous factors go into these decisions and they are not easy. They are not easy for the player, the family and everyone involved. Robison talks about some of the factors he will use to make his decision.
"My number one concern is education," Shawn Robinson said. "Next are the relationships with the quarterback coach, and the rest of the staff. I want to make sure the program would fit me. I would also like my family to see me play often. (So that could factor in my colleges.)"
