Reese Now at Three Offers

Farmington (Mich.) class of 2016 linebacker David Reese talks about the experience of receiving his first offers and how things went at the Sound Mind, Sound Body camp for him.

Farmington High's physical 6-foot-1, 235-pound rising junior linebacker David Reese has had a good few weeks and now sits at three offers. Ohio and Akron were first and Toledo came this week after seeing him at the Sound Mind, Sound Body Football Academy.

"I'm very excited to have my first offers," he said. "I've been working hard this offseason. Akron came in and one day saw my film and my workouts and they decided to offer. I did a one day at Ohio and they offered me after."

Having been on both campuses, Reese has liked what he has seen of both the Zips and the Bobcats.

"I stopped by and saw the campus at Akron. It's a beautiful place. Ohio's nice too. The coaches were full of energy, everything was nice and everything went smooth up there."

Reese will take full advantage of the June camp season as he hits the road and looks to continue impressing coaches along the way.

"I'm going to North Carolina, Wake Forest, Ohio State and Tennessee. I went to OU and Pitt before that. And Michigan, I'm going up to camp on the 16th."

Sound Mind, Sound Body allowed some of those staffs to get an early look at him before camp, and a few others to discover him.

"I talked to Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Coach Coombs and their whole staff, Indiana and Illinois."

As a sophomore, Reese led the Falcons and the county in tackles while winning team MVP and making 1st team All-Conference. Recommended Stories
