One of the many impressive receiver prospects in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex took a step forward in his decision-making process Saturday evening.
DeSoto receiver Kevin Thomas has seen his offer list go from only a few schools to about a dozen. The 6-foot, 175-pounder tweeted a top six Sunday evening, noting that it was in no particular order: Indiana, San Diego State, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Kansas, and Clemson.

Thomas, who Scout.com rates as a three-star prospect, had a big junior season in 2013 for DeSoto, which reached its second consecutive state semifinal.
Thomas finished second on the team in receptions (60), receiving yards (822), and receiving touchdowns (7), trailing only Chris Lacy in those three categories. Lacy signed with Oklahoma State in February.
DeSoto will be loaded once again this fall. Along with Thomas, the Eagles boast several other 2015 recruits, including defensive tackle Bryce English, receiver Akile Davis, linebacker Chris Orr (committed to Wisconsin), running back Jatory Sparks-Brown (committed to San Diego State), safety E.J. Muhammad (committed to Nevada), and offensive lineman Kendall Jennings (committed to Nevada). DeSoto also has 2016 quarterback Tristen Wallace, an early Scout four-star prospect in his class.
