The Louisville athlete was offered as a defensive prospect…
First offer for Hammonds
Ballard High (KY.) linebacker Sean Hammonds has been on the verge of picking up his first FBS offer for several weeks. The 6-foot-2, 220-pound junior finally received his breakthrough. Ball State offered Ballard High (KY.) linebacker Sean Hammonds this week. The rising senior is excited about the offer, but not satisfied. "Getting my first FBS offer is a great feeling, but I'm not going to stop grinding. Hopefully more will come," Hammonds said. Hammonds likes the Ball State program and they obviously have a good impression of his as well. "Ball State is an awesome program. They offer a very good education and they are very good in football," Hammonds said. "The coaches really like my play and how versatile I am. They really like that." Hammonds isn't ready to make a decision just yet. He still wants to see what else is out there. He's been getting good feedback from the schools who he's worked with this summer. "I've just been hearing I'm a really good player that can play multiple positions. I'm hoping more offers come soon," he said. "I'm going to wait a while before I make my commitment. I want to make sure I make the right decision for me." Scout.com will keep you posted on Sean Hammonds.
