Gallon Camping for First Offer
Tallahassee (Fla.) Lincoln High School running back/linebacker Quentez Gallon is still working for his first scholarship offer. The 5-foot-11 and 190-pound rising senior says some teams would like to see him in camp this summer. Other schools want to see him play running back this fall after seeing most of his action at linebacker as a junior. "I heard from Bethune-Cookman last week about their camp and I should be going to their camp in Daytona Beach this weekend," said Gallon who hopes to get his first offer after the camp. Gallon was hearing from Florida Atlantic during the spring and plans on camping with the Owls this Friday. "I will be at FAU's satellite camp in Tallahassee. I haven't heard from them much since the spring," said Gallon of FAU. There are several other programs that where in touch during May's spring practice period that want to see more of Gallon at running back during the 2014 season. "I've talked to the Troy of course and Southern Miss. I talked with the South Alabama coach this spring. I am supposed to be going to the Jacksonville State camp in July. Troy basically wants to see more tape of me at running back. They just want me to keep working and keep getting bigger so I can play running back for them," finished Gallon.
