Dungey Looking For Balance

The Lake Oswego (Ore.) Lakeridge quarterback, Eric Dungey, is looking for balance with a school, with both academics and the football program...

Lake Oswego (Ore.) Lakeridge quarterback Eric Dungey (6-4, 200) is in double-digits for offers.

"I have 11 offers, from Yale, Harvard, Montana State, Brown, Navy, Air Force, UNLV, Idaho, Northern Colorado, UC Davis and Montana," said Dungey.

More schools are interested too.

"Nevada for sure," said Dungey. "And Vanderbilt said they want to see how I do my senior season, then a bunch of other schools."

Dungey camped at Harvard this summer.

"I went out to the Harvard camp and it's nice out there," said Dungey. "The East Coast is real nice and the school in general, the guys there are awesome, the players really have turned in to great men."

Dungey said he's intrigued by the Ivy League.

"The Ivy League is definitely pleasing and intriguing, but I'm keeping my options open and seeing what else opens up," said Dungey.

Dungey said Harvard and Yale as well as Montana and Air Force are recruiting him pretty hard.

"I'm looking for a good football school and academically strong school," said Dungey.

A decision isn't likely to come soon.

"I have no real time line," said Dungey. "I want to see how my senior season goes, and if I make the decision before or if I make it after."

Dungey will be at the Barton Showcase this weekend in Seattle.
