Four-star Princeton (N.C.) running back Johnny Frasier is focused on five schools – Duke, Florida State, Georgia, Michigan and Tennessee. He will possibly visit Tennessee and Michigan in the near future. Another school to watch is South Carolina, which he could visit before the end of the summer. Four-star Garner (N.C.) running back Nyheim Hines plans to narrow his list of schools in late July or early August. He said Duke will definitely make the cut and Ohio State will likely as well. Hines will likely visit Vanderbilt, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, Clemson, Virginia Tech and Virginia in the next month. He plans to make a decision sometime in September or October. Four-star defensive tackle Shy Tuttle narrowed his list to Clemson, Miami, NC State, North Carolina and Tennessee last week. His most recent trip was to North Carolina, and he will likely head to Clemson, NC State and Tennessee in the near future. Four-star Wake Forest (N.C.) running back Bryce Love told Scout.com a few weeks ago that Tennessee, Stanford, North Carolina, NC State and East Carolina will make the cut when he narrows his list later this month. With that said, a few other schools will likely join them. Love's possible upcoming visits include Duke, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, Auburn, South Carolina and Wake Forest. Four-star Clemmons (N.C.) West Forsyth defensive end Jalen Dalton was previously down to Florida State, North Carolina and Virginia. However, he is no longer considering Florida State. Along with the North Carolina and Virginia Tech, Dalton is now looking at Florida and Miami. Rocky Mount (N.C.) Nash Central defensive end Houshun Gaines has a top four of Florida, Miami, NC State and Virginia Tech – in no particular order. He will visit Florida and possibly Miami later this month. New Bern (N.C.) cornerback Mike Hughes (pictured above) is getting closer to making his decision. Recently, he visited NC State and North Carolina. Next, he hopes to get to South Carolina, before narrowing his list to five or three later this month. According to Hughes, two schools that will make the cut are North Carolina and NC State. He hopes to have his decision made before football season. Concord (N.C.) running back Rocky Reid committed to Tennessee in April. While he remains firmly committed to the Volunteers, Georgia Tech, Michigan State, NC State and Wisconsin are continuing to pursue him. Winterville (N.C.) South Central running back Shawn Furlow remains wide open, but admitted Clemson, East Carolina, North Carolina, NC State and Old Dominion have impressed him. Thomasville (N.C.) outside linebacker Akeem Davis is one of the most underrated prospects in the state. In no particular order, Appalachian State, Georgia Southern, Boston College and Elon are his top four schools.
