Henrilus Getting Interest
Tallahassee (Fla.) Lincoln High School running back/wide receiver Ricky Henrilus has been lightly recruited this spring and summer. The 5-foot-11 and 185-pound rising senior has caught the attention of both Alabama and Florida Atlantic after camping with both programs in June. Last season Henrilus played wide receiver for Lincoln and says that both programs are recruiting him as an athlete. He has also been invited to and plans on participating in LSU’s camp later this month. Henrilus has also received letters from Wisconsin and Florida this off-season. ”FAU, they are planning to contact me in the fall. When I got on the field they liked how I played. The running back coach took down my number. I ran a 4.46 and 4.47-forty so they like my speed and my hands,” Henrilus said of his Owls camp experience. The Crimson Tide also plan on keeping an eye on Henrilus this fall after impressing the Alabama staff in camp. ”I talked to the recruiting coach at Alabama and they should be contacting me sometime in September. They said they wanted me to come back up to camp the week of July 13th through 16th,” Henrilus said of Alabama. Henrilus worked out at wide receiver at Alabama’s camp. He saw reps at both running back and wide receiver at FAU’s satellite camp in Tallahassee. Having been in attendance at FAU’s camp last month, the one thing I can say is that Henrilus can run and is a good athlete who competes hard.
