”I’ve been to a lot of places this summer,” said Traveon Redd, who holds a scholarship offer from Old Dominion. “I’ve been to camps at North Carolina, NC State and Wake Forest. I’ve also visited Florida State and Miami.”
His most recent visit was Wake Forest.
”I kind of decided to go last minute, but I liked the camp” said the 5-foot-11, 185-pound Redd. “My favorite part of the camp was the one-on-ones.”
He will make a return trip to a school tomorrow.
”This Friday, my team actually has a 7-on-7 at UNC, so that will probably be my last visit this summer,” Redd said. “It will be my third time there and I’m really interested in them. I like that they’re close to home and I like the program.”
With the season just weeks away, Redd has already started thinking about possible trips.
He is looking forward to his junior campaign.
”I’m really excited,” Redd said. “We’re going to have a young team, but we’re going to work as hard as we can and try to have the best season possible.”
