Midlands Top 150: DFW Represents

Scout.com looks at the overwhelming number of DFW Metroplex prospects in the latest Midlands Region Top 150 for the 2015 class.

It's no secret that the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex is one of the nation's top hotbeds for high school football.

Scout.com's updated Midlands Region Top 150 rankings for the 2015 class supports that even more. Of the 150 players on the list, 62 come from the DFW Metroplex.

Five of the top nine players and 13 of the top 29 are from DFW, including No. 1-ranked Malik Jefferson (pictured above), who is Scout's top outside linebacker prospect and the No. 2 overall recruit in the country for the 2015 class.

Texas A&M, which is ranked No. 2 nationally behind Alabama in the 2015 recruiting rankings, has commitments from three of the top seven players in DFW. The Aggies are also in play for Jefferson.
