”I have offers from West Virginia, UVa, Duke, Maryland, NC State, Marshall, Wake Forest and ODU,” said Josh Ball. “Penn State, Clemson, Florida State, Florida, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Virginia Tech and Temple are some of the other main schools recruiting me. I think Clemson, Temple and Virginia Tech could be close to offering.”
Wake Forest was his most recent offer.
”It was just amazing and big accomplishment,” said the 6-foot-7, 310-pound Ball. “I actually visited earlier this summer and participated in the camp while I was there. I thought it was a really nice campus and school.”
Ball’s last visit was to West Virginia.
”I loved it at West Virginia,” he said. “I just like the school a lot and the coaches up there are really good.
”My favorite part was working with the coaches. I really enjoyed working with (offensive line) coach (Ron) Crook. He’s a good coach.
”It was also good to hang out with them and get to know them better. I spent the most time talking to (wide receivers) coach (Lonnie) Galloway. He’s my recruiting coach and we definitely have a good relationship. He’s just a great guy and he’s really honest. And I just think he’s a good coach.”
Although Ball doesn’t have any visits set, he has an idea of some schools he hopes to get to this fall.
”I’d like to visit Clemson and Florida State,” he said. “I’m not sure where else. I’m going to sit down with my family and decide what trips we’re going to take.”
He claims no favorites at this time.
