”The summer was good,” said Collin Hill. “I went to camps at Georgia, Louisville, Clemson, South Carolina, Stanford and Wake Forest. I pretty much got the same feedback from everybody. They said I looked good and told me to send them film after the first few games of the season. And they’ll go from there.”
His most recent camp was Stanford.
”It was beautiful out there,” said the 6-foot-3, 202-pound Hill. “It was really pretty. One of the prettiest, if not the prettiest campuses I’ve seen. They have a great football program and of course they have great academics.
”The coaches told me I did the right thing by coming out and they’ll be more interested now because I showed I was interested by going out to camp. They also told me I did well and that they’d be keeping a close eye on me this fall.”
Along with the aforementioned schools, Hill has heard from Michigan State, North Carolina State, Arizona, Maryland, Pittsburgh and UCF. He also said Georgia, Clemson, Louisville and Wake Forest are recruiting him the hardest.”
With the season just weeks away, he has already started thinking about visits this fall.
”I want to go to South Carolina, Clemson and Georgia,” Hill said. “I’ll also probably go to Louisville and Michigan. Then I’ll just see what other schools show interest as the year goes on and try to visit those.”
