Demario McCall is drawing a lot of recruiting attention in Ohio, and the top 2016 prospect is one of the top players in the state.
McCall, 5-foot-11, 170-pounds, plays runningback but projects as a wide receiver/slot back at the next level. He holds five offers currently.
"I was offered by Tennessee this week and I did not expect it at all," McCall stated. "It means a lot to me because it's an SEC offer. I need to keep on working, to add more."
"It came out of nowhere and they offered me after practice this week," he added. "My head coach told me about the offer, and said I needed to call them. Once I spoke to them, they told me what their school is all about and I am impressed."
"They didn't really talk about position, and they said they want me to come to campus real soon," he continued. "I would love to visit there, but I don't have anything scheduled right now."
There is one visit McCall does know he's taking, and it will take place in two weeks.
"It's a night game, and I'm excited to see a game down at Ohio State because I've never seen a college game in person before," McCall admitted.
