Over the summer, Hamilton camped several schools and while he enjoyed them all, one stood out.
”I’d say Tennessee was my favorite,” said the 5-foot-9, 165-pound Hamilton. “Their coaches showed me a lot interest, especially (wide receivers) coach (Zach) Azzanni. I really liked that.
”I also had a chance to talk to coach (Butch) Jones. We talked about me stepping up and being a leader in drills. He said he was impressed.”
In regards to trips this fall, Hamilton mentioned Tennessee and Toledo as possibilities.
However, his main focus is on his sophomore season.
”I’m ready to go out and try to play as well as I can and try to help my team win,” he said. “We have a lot of young players and I feel like we could really be a great team.”
