Scout 300 offensive tackle Michael Jordan helped his Plymouth team to a win over Salem on Thursday night. The two schools are very close by, so the emotions were high.
"It felt good because I got to go against our cross-campus rival and they thought they were going to beat us, but we proved them wrong."
Jordan is now up to 6-foot-7, 275 pounds and the offseason work he put in produced a much improved player on the field in game one.
"I feel a lot better than last year because last year I wasn't as skilled. This year, I'm a lot more skilled."
It was in Ann Arbor that Jordan saw the Wolverines' opening day win over Appalachian State.
"It was good, Michigan won 52-14. It was a pretty boring game because they blew them out, but it was fun being around the coaches. They were just telling me how a lot of mail was coming in around Wednesday and asking me how I was."
This weekend, Jordan will visit Notre Dame for their night time clash against the Wolverines.
