Schools from across the country flock to the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex to find elite high school football talent. Ohio State is the latest to make a splash.
The Buckeyes have offered three 2016 prospects from DFW since this past Friday.
Ohio State offered two of the region's junior prospects Wednesday night: DeSoto quarterback Tristen Wallace (pictured above) and Sachse receiver Devin Duvernay. HornsDigest.com's William Wilkerson first reported Wallace's offer, which Wallace acknowledged Thursday morning via Twitter.

Wallace also has offers from Indiana, Nebraska, and SMU.
Duvernay tweeted the news of his Ohio State offer. Washington offered Duvernay on Thursday to give him 26 total offers.

The 5-foot-10, 175-pound Duvernay, a high four-star prospect, is Scout's No. 2 receiver and No. 20 overall recruit in the 2016 class. Duvernay opened the 2014 season with an impressive effort in Sachse's 41-18 win at Wylie, catching seven passes for 157 yards and two touchdowns.
Wallace, a huge quarterback prospect at 6-foot-2 1/2, 225 pounds, is Scout's No. 6 quarterback and No. 89 overall recruit in the 2016 cycle. Wallace opened the 2014 season with a monster performance in a 55-30 season-opening victory against Arlington Martin. Wallace completed 10 of 17 passes for 287 yards and four touchdowns, while rushing 11 times for 217 yards and three scores.
The first of these three Ohio State offers went out Aug. 29 to McKinney North defensive end Justin Madubuike, another four-star junior.
The 6-foot-4, 240-pound Madubuike plays defensive tackle for McKinney North's even-front defense, but is projected as a defensive end right now. Scout ranks Madubuike as the No. 16 defensive end and No. 132 overall recruit in the 2016 class.Madubuike's offer list has gone from four to seven schools. The Buckeyes join TCU and Texas A&M as schools to offer him since last week. Madubuike started his junior year with seven tackles, three tackles for loss, one sack, and one forced fumble in McKinney North's season-opening 45-16 win at Carrollton Newman-Smith.
