Bush wants more offers

Jack Britt (NC) defensive end Jeff Bush is getting ready for the season to start, and he has plenty of pressure on him this year on both the football field and the classroom. That said, Bush is prepared and adjusting quickly.

“Not only am I going to play defensive end this year, but I am also going at tight end, so I will be going both ways this year,” says the 6-foot-4, 230 pounder. “I have a good body to play the position, but I know that defensive end will be how I get to play in college. The whole tight end concept is intriguing since I picked it up really easy.”

In the classroom, Bush is coming on strong as he finished the spring semester with flying colors.

“I was planning to go to summer school to help myself out some, but I passed all my stuff by so much that I did not have to do that.”

Teams are taking interest as Clemson, which has already offered, Michigan, and Virginia are all sending Bush the most information.

“They want to see how I do in the first semester, so I know that I have to wait on that before I decide. I am also waiting to see if Maryland will offer. I went to a family event, and a Maryland coach is close to my family and he says they know about me and will find out what they can do for me.”
