Kyle Williams verbally committed to Iowa on October 1st and he'll visit the Hawkeyes on December 5th…
Season Ends - Trips Begin
There has been a ton of speculation about whether or not All-American linebacker Kyle Williams would be taking other official visits besides his visit to Iowa City in December. That speculation has now been put to bed as Williams has received the blessing of Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz to check out other schools. Williams and his Bolingbrook football team were ousted from the state play-offs this past Friday night and Kyle was on an official visit with Purdue a day later. We weren't able to catch up with Williams last night but Bolingbrook head coach John Ivlow gave us an update. "Kyle did visit Purdue this past weekend." Ivlow said. "I spoke with Kyle on the phone last night and he didn't have much to say. He may have been tired. "To tell you the truth, I didn't expect him to say "Wow" that was incredible. I do expect him to say that when he comes back from Oregon and Miami." Williams still plans on visiting the Hurricanes (12-12) in December and Oregon (1-9) in January but its going to take something very special for any of these schools to beat Iowa. We hope to hear from Kyle Williams sometime today or this evening. When we speak to Kyle, we'll be sure to give you an update.
