Spanaway (Wash.) Bethel OL Aaron Klovas returned Sunday from his final visit, to Washington State, where he was one of two visitors to grace the Palouse this weekend. Klovas visited the Cougars as much to tie up some unanswered academic questions than anything, because if there's one in-state player that already knows a lot about WSU, it's Klovas.

"It wasn't like a normal visit because school is out," Aaron told TheInsiders.com Sunday. "But I've been over there before. It was important to get my academic questions answered, and my Mom and Dad were with me, so we were all about to get a lot of quality time in with the coaches and the players."

So what academic questions were answered? "Well, Washington State has a good sports management program and there are some in the program from Bethel that I had a chance to talk to and they are graduating with good prospects to get good jobs, and that's what I want to do. I want to be around sports.

"So if I went there, I'd probably go into that program, and if I went to Oregon I'd probably go in the sports marketing program, and if I go to UCLA I'd probably look at some other things."

Calvin Armstrong was Aaron's host, and Armstrong has build up a friendship with Klovas much like Nick Steitz has done at Oregon. "He's a really good guy," Klovas said of the offensive lineman from Centralia, Washington. "He's honest and upfront and we always have a good time all the time. He's just a cool dude and I can call him up anytime to get advice.

"And it's been the same with Nick Steitz at Oregon. Both are really good players and they will take the time to talk to kids like me and be honest when we ask questions."

While it would appear that both the Cougars and Ducks have the inside track to Klovas' heart, Aaron wants all Bruin fans to know that he is still very much interested in them and he is truly torn about the eventual decision he'll be forced to make.

"When I came back from my UCLA trip I was very excited," he said. "I could definitely see myself going back to Los Angeles, either to play football and go to school or visit later on in life.

"It's such a good opportunity there, and Coach (Karl) Dorrell hasn't had a chance to visit my Mom and Dad yet. I am looking forward to that."

Klovas isn't sure when that meeting will take place, but he expects it to either be during this next week or the week after, depending on Dorrell's schedule.

And a timetable? "Well, I told the Washington State coaches that I would tell them in a week," said Aaron. "I don't know if that means I'll be telling them that I'm going there or going somewhere else, but I told them I would let them know in a week."
