Texas Speedster Sets Visits

Samson Taylor

Adrian Peterson isn't the only running back in the Lone Star state with skills. Samson Taylor could be the biggest sleeper in the south. Four schools will get a crack at signing Taylor in January. Does he have a leader? Take a look.

"I've narrowed things down to four schools, said running back Samson Taylor.

"I'm going to pick between Notre Dame, Arizona, Texas A&M and Michigan State.

"I don't have a leader right now, I want to take my visits and compare schools. I don't want to name a leader without stepping foot on a campus.

"I'm going to Arizona (1-9) this weekend, Notre Dame (1-16) and I'll finish up with Michigan State (1-23) and Texas A&M (1-30)."

Taylor, a 6-foot, 205-pounder from The Woodlands, Texas was one of the finest prospects I've seen on film this year.

Samson was a relative unknown last March but he opened the eyes of the college recruiters with a super performance at the College Station Nike Camp in the summer.

Taylor could play running back, wide receiver or defensive back at the next level. He rushed for 1,800 yards in 2003, scoring 18 touchdowns.
