A trip to Nebraska blows the socks off Oklahoma DE Adam Blankenship, who committed Sunday to Bill Callahan. "The visit was awesome," said Blankenship. "Coach Callahan talked about bringing them back to greatness."

Tulsa Union (Ok) DE Adam Blankenship committed on Sunday to Nebraska during his official visit. He was hosted by TE J.B. Phillips.

"The visit was awesome," said Blankenship. "The Nebraska campus is unbelievable and the new staff is gonna do some great things there.

"Coach (Bill) Callahan is down-to-earth and he's easy to talk to. Coach Callahan talked about bringing them back to greatness.

"Before I left, I met with coach Callahan and told him and he was really excited. I just new I wanted to be there. My trip was great and it just felt right. They have everything you look for.

"Boy they feed you really well. We had everything: steak, BBQ chicken--and everything was great. Also, the facilities are the best in the nation--and they are adding to the stadium so it'll seat over 80,000."

Tulsa (12/19) and Colorado State (12/5) lost this battle. Adam says he had about 10-12 offers.
