Keenan Clayton is a hard hitting safety prospect from Sulphur Spring (Texas) High School. Clayton, 6-2 and 198 pounds, also plays running back and he returns kicks.
At this point, Clayton has linebacker size and defensive back speed. He closes well and is a big hitter. He shows good skills in coverage and has a knack for making that big play, whether it’s delivering a big hit or coming up with an acrobatic interception.
Offensively, he runs with a lot of power and has good speed and hands. He also shows his athleticism while returning kicks.
Clayton projects as a safety at the next level.
"I learned about this kid last year when I was checking on Jonathan Lindley," said TheInsiders.com/Big 12 recruiting analyst Stacey Dean. "He has size, can really move and is very athletic. I think this kid is a hard hitting safety for someone at the next level."
Below, there are two video highlight packages of Clayton. The first one is strictly of him playing defense. The second one is an offensive and kick return video package.
