Many have dubbed the University Of Pittsburgh as Wide Reciever "U". The stigma is not such a bad…
Ohio Wide Recevier - Greg Orton
Does Orton have a leader for his services? "I'm completely wide open right now," Orton said. "My favorites are Purdue, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Iowa and Virginia.
"Notre Dame and Tennessee haven't offered me a scholarship yet but they write hand-written letters all the time."
Orton is a solid football player but don't look for him to stay in the Buckeye State to play his college football.
"I'm definitely leaving the state," said Orton. "I never grew up a big Ohio State fan like most of the guys in Ohio. I want to get away from home and experience something different."
Greg Orton will be a four-year varsity member and three-year starter in 2004. He was named all-area as a junior and was named to the Ohio pre-season Tremendous 26 team.
Orton camped at Pitt this summer. He carries a 3.1 GPA in the classroom and scored a 21 on his ACT.
