Chris Pool,

Illinois offensive lineman Guy Williamson was named all-conference in 2003. He's given a MAC school his verbal commitment but if the Tigers come a callin', things should get very interesting.

"My commitment to Bowling Green is a soft commitment." offensive lineman Guy Williamson said.

"Clemson has been contacting me a lot and I'd love to play there.

"Florida Atlantic has also been recruiting me hard. Kentucky and Louisville would also be a couple of my favorites."

Williamson, a 6-foot-5, 312-pounder from Mahomet-Seymour will be a three-year starter on both sides of the ball in 2004.

He played defensive tackle as a sophomore and played offensive tackle and defensive tackle as a junior.

Williamson is being recruited as a guard.

What does Guy Williamson bring to the table?

"When I play offensive line, I usually pancake the guy in front of me." Williamson said.

"I'm pretty good at pulling and I'm my drive blocking is also pretty solid."

Williamson carries a 3.0 GPA and scored a 20 on his ACT.
