Wisconsin DL Improving Stock

OL/DL Adam Hahn

Hartford defensive lineman Adam Hahn looks great on film and he looked super this past Friday at Northwestern's one day camp. Three schools have already offered and more could come during the 2004 season.

"I have scholarship offers from Northern Illinois, Central Michigan and Indiana," said defensive lineman Adam Hahn.

"My favorites are Northwestern, Wisconsin, Central Michigan, Indiana and Northern Illinois.

"I camped at Indiana and they offered me. I camped at Wisconsin and actually thought I had my best camp but they didn't offer me.

"The Wisconsin coaches told me that they wanted to see more and they'll be looking at me in the fall."

The 6-foot-4, 265-pound Hahn will be a three-year varsity starter in 2004.

Adam started every game at defensive end as a sophomore and was named honorable mention all-state.

As a junior, he had 65 solo tackles, 12 tackles for loss and nine sacks and was named all-state.

Adam also played offensive tackle in 2003 but says he prefers the defensive side of the ball.

"Indiana offered me as a defensive lineman." Hahn said. "Northern (Illinois) and Central (Michigan) offered me as an offensive lineman. I prefer defense."

Hahn looks very good on film. He gets off the ball extremely well and he can bend off the edge with good balance.

He can leverage and play under his pads and he plays hard and hustles.

Adam will also pursue and chase the back side.

"I have quick feet for a big guy," said Hahn. "I also have the ability to lock my hands out and control blockers."

Adam Hahn wasn't included in the July "Midwest 100" but he will be given serious consideration in August.
