Five-star cornerback Demetrice Morley is now committed to the Vols not the Gators. After his recent official visit to the Volunteer State, Morley said last night that "it's all Tennessee".

As everyone knows by now, things have changed for Demetrice Morley. Morley is a five-star cornerback and one of the most dominant defensive backs in the nation. He plays free safety for Miami (Fla.) Killian High School and most schools like him as a future corner. And right now Morley likes the Vols and Tennessee likes him as a safety.

”Man they (Tennessee) caught my eye,” said Morley of his recent official visit to UT. “They caught my eye so much I committed to them. First of all I love their coaches – Coach Taylor, Coach Slade, Coach Fulmer… all of them. Their facilities are amazing and I think I can bring something to this team and help them next year. And it looks like I will play safety for them, not cornerback. They are one of the few teams that one me there.”

Morley, 6-1 and 185 pounds, is an exceptional talent. Morley has terrific speed and could play either safety position. He supports the run well enough to be a strong safety and has the great speed to play free safety. I think he is better suited to play FS at the next level. Having said that, he may be even a better cornerback (ranked by Scout.com as the No. 4 CB in the nation).

Over the summer, Morley made a surprise commitment to the Florida Gators. After they lost to LSU a few weeks ago Morley backed off the Gators. Why?

”I backed out of my commitment to Florida after that LSU game because I wanted to leave my options open. I wanted to be honest with those (Florida) coaches and let them know what I was thinking.”

What is Morley now thinking after committing to his second school and after the first school he committed to is making a coaching change?

”First of all, if I was to go to Florida, I would go there to play for Coach (Ron) Zook. Right now, it’s all Tennessee.

”I may take two more visits. I may visit Auburn, when they play Georgia and I may visit N.C. State, when they play Florida State.

Morley and Miami Killian play South Miami High School tomorrow night. On the season Morley has 35 tackles, three interceptions and returned two kicks for touchdowns.
