Tight end Jeff Cottam has made his commitment with the decision coming down today and it's Tennessee.
"Yes, I committed to Tennessee today," said Cottam moments ago. "I like the fact that my bother (Brad) is there. At first, I thought it might have been a little weird competing against him for playing time but I talked with coach (Greg) Atkins about it and I feel good about it now. That was the main thing and I made that decision recently."
Cottam, 6-7 and 255 pounds, is from Germantown (Tenn.) High School were he played tight end and defensive end. This season he caught 13 passes for 230 yards and he also recorded 87 tackles and seven sacks. Cottam is the No. 7 rated tight end prospect in the country according to Scout.com.
