Scout.com has unprecedented coverage of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, and that coverage continues with a photo report from Tuesday's practice with the East Squad.
Scout.com is an exclusive online partner of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, and with this partnership, we are able to bring you images like this.
If you haven't been Stopping by the
U.S. Army All-American
site on Scout.com, you don't know what you've been missing.
No one has access like this, and no one brings you coverage of the U.S. Army All-Americans like Scout.com.
The
U.S. Army All-American Bowl
is played in San Antonio, Texas., at the Alamodome on Jan. 15, 2005, and broadcast nationally on NBC at 1 p.m., Eastern.
Scout.com
is a sponsor, the official selection partner and exclusive on-line partner of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, as well as the associated U.S. Army Combine for underclassmen.
Alex Boone
and
Dan Doering
are two of the most physically gifted offensive linemen in the country, and they will help lead a powerful East unit.
The West isn't going to want to run any slants into linebacker Brian Cushing's zone. Cushing sniffed out a couple of wide receiver screens at practice today, and he scared the life out of some receivers.
Forced into action on offense,
Demetrice Morley
goes high to prove why he is one of the best athletes on the field this week.
Nicholson is strong inside, and he showed the ability today to work in coverage in 7 v 7 drills today.
Earl Heyman
was described this week as a player with a non stop motor, and despite giving up a ton of size to the mammoth East offensive line, was nearly impossible to move.
The West quarterbacks may get the pub, but
Jonathan Crompton
has proved that he belongs on the same field with
Mark Sanchez
and
Ryan Perrilloux
. Crompton is bigger and stronger than ever, and he has been making good reads with accurate throws this week.
Maurice Wells
is going to be one of the beneficiaries of the East's huge offensive line. He even looks fast when he's jogging.
No
Melvin Alaeze
hasn't been moved to running back yet, but it's still a scary thought illustrated with a picture of Alaeze moving through a drill. Alaeze is a force on the defensive line.
Michael Oher
will be making his first start at center in his career, but he looks like a natural at the position. Oher has been on of the most impressive linemen on a team loaded with them.
Patrick Turner
has been named by his teammates as the best receiver on the field with
Fred Rouse
not being able to put his hat in the ring since he got injured. Here he has the foot down, but did he get control in time? If not, just throw it to him again. He's been nearly unstoppable outside this week.
Crompton isn't the only one that has looked good at quarterback;
Greg Paulus
might not have the same size and arm that Crompton does, but he makes outstanding reads and works through his progressions like a pro. The point guard in the backfield knows how to find the open man.
The East probably hopes they don't have to use a punter, but if they do, they are in good hands with
Zoltan Mesko
. Mesko was routinely kicking 50+ yards bombs in practice today. He can change the field position in a hurry.
