Dead-even for Smith

Brandon Smith will not be taking any more visits. That's what he told Scout.com Thursday night, as he deliberates on two favorites - the University of Washington and Arizona State. Those two school will hold his thoughts until next week, when he's set to announce his final decision.

"I don't want to confuse myself any more," Smith said when asked if he was still set on taking an official visit to Arizona this coming weekend. So that leaves it 50/50 between Washington and Arizona State. Brandon will announce his intentions on either Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.

Here's what he had to say about his two finalists.

Washington - "Dedication, Coach (Tyrone) Willingham, the academics, the academic coaches are nice, the support they have from their staff and everything. But I can't really go off what they have for a receivers coach or a coordinator or anything because they don't have one yet."

Arizona State - "They have a winning record and they have athletes there. They are coming off a good win against Purdue and they have confidence going into next year. I could be part of a winning team.

"I know Coach Willingham will turn things around, but I just don't know how long it will take them."
