Myron Rolle recently narrowed down his school choices to Oklahoma, Michigan, Florida State, Miami and Florida. Rolle, 6-2 and 211 pounds, will graduate in December and will be one of the most coveted prospects in the country this recruiting season.
What position will he play? Rolle wants to be a cornerback but he may be too big. But he certainly has the athletic ability to give it a go. Defensively, he is a big time hitter always around the ball. Rolle is physical and fast and covers a lot of ground. He can walk up to the line of scrimmage and attack the offense or play very well in coverage. Rolle is excellent in run support.
I was surprised at how good this kid is at running back. Rolle has home run speed and deceptive quickness for a bigger back. He also shows great instincts and vision. Rolle can make you miss or run right through you. He could certainly play the running back position in college.
