Defensive tackle Seth Jensen (6-4, 270, 4.9) said he has eight scholarship offers: Oklahoma, Colorado, Colorado State, Nebraska, Iowa State, Kansas State, Wyoming and UCLA.
Jensen, from Fort Morgan High School in Fort Morgan, Colorado, has his favorites narrowed to three: Oklahoma, Nebraska and Colorado, with the Sooners and Huskers leading. "I like the facilities at Oklahoma and Norman is a really nice place. It's laid-back and a great community. I also love the stadium there and it's really impressive seeing all the trophies they have. They are just such a successful program," said Jensen.
He attended the Oklahoma camp on June 2nd and had a pro-agility time of 4.53.
Jensen also attended the Nebraska camp on June 11th. There, he ran a 4.56 pro-agility, 5.0 forty-yard dash (winning the Fastest Man Competition in his weight group) and had a 25-inch vertical jump. They also measured their body fat and Jensen measured at a solid 16%.
"The Nebraska camp was a lot of fun," said Jensen. "I like the coaches a lot. I love the dorms and they are doing a lot of constructions there so it'll be getting even better. I was really impressed with how structured and well organized the camp was. I'm going to visit Nebraska with my dad on Tuesday (June 21st) because he didn't make it to the camp. After that we'll sit down and compare them all.
"I'll have my decision made this summer, hopefully within the next couple of weeks. I want to go to a place with a great fan base that supports the team no matter what," said Jensen.
"It's a close battle between Oklahoma and Nebraska, but I like Colorado too," said Jensen. "I've been to their camp every year since I was 12. I like coach Gary Barnett. He's a nice guy and I have a great relationship with all the coaches. It's a really great campus and it's only one and a half hours away."
He reports a 2.9 GPA and an 18 ACT score.
