Michigan WR Ready to Roll

D.D. Hardy, a 5-foot-11, 160-pound, wide receiver, from New Haven, Michigan, is one of the best prospects to attend the Scout.com All-American Combine in Champaign, Ill., we asked Hardy about his summer and which schools are at the top of his wish list.

“I don’t have any offers yet,” D.D. Hardy said. “I camped this summer at Cincinnati, Michigan and Michigan State.

“My favorites are Cincinnati, Michigan, Wisconsin, Michigan State and Central Michigan.

“I’m open. I’m going to listen to any school that has an interest in me. Most of the schools that I’m talking to just want to see me play this year. I’ve also had a lot of schools ask if I’m wiling to play defensive back.”

Hardy had a very nice junior season, with 63 receptions and 916 yards. D.D. scored seven touchdowns and was named all-state, all-area and all-conference.

What does Hardy bring to the table as D-1 wide receiver prospect?

“I run good routes and I’m going to go and get the ball,” Hardy said.

“I can make things happen after the catch, I make big plays and I’m not afraid to go over the middle to make a catch.

“Right now, I need to work on getting bigger and stronger. Everything will take care of itself after that.”

Hardy didn’t report a GPA but he did score 18 on his ACT test. He should be a full qualifier come signing day.
