Brown Chooses Maroon

Aaron Brown had over seventy offers from which to choose, but in the end, the Cincinnati (Ohio) Princeton four star offensive lineman picked the reigning ACC champions.

"The school I will be going to is Virginia Tech," says the big man. "I talked to the coaches I really feel comfortable. The atmosphere is really unbelievable and I could see myself going there."

Comfortable with Virginia Tech in so many ways, Brown decided to follow his heart.

"Being able to go in and play is really exciting. I am going to be playing offensive tackle and me coming in and playing in the system I have a great chance of playing next year."

With a great support system around him, the choice for Brown and his family came down to Notre Dame and the Hokies. With the choice behind him, Brown is ready to enroll at Virginia Tech in January.

"Going into a college setting, the playbook is going to be completely different and I want to hit the weightroom hard."

Brown knew he liked the campus in Blacksburg after rating his official visit a ten.

"It was good, he gave the visit a 10," said George Brown, Aaron Brown's father. "He was in the walk, he was in the locker room with the team, we participated in all the pre-game festivities, and got to meet with the coaches. The crowd was off the hook – real loud, good atmosphere."

"With Virginia Tech it was all positives," said George Brown, Aaron's father. "Playing time, a need for lineman, good team, good coaches – they have all the positives that he's looking for in a school."
