Jamere Holland posted the fastest time at the Scout.com Combine in Los
Angeles, and his hard work at the Combine as well as on the season and in the
classroom paid of as Scout.com's #12 Wide Receiver was selected to the U.S. Army
All-American Bowl.
Holland measured 6-0 and 179 pounds and turned in one of only two 4.40 times or
better among the Class of 2006 on the Scout.com Combine tour with his 4.40 in
Los Angeles (C.J. Spiller turned in a 4.35 in Jacksonville).

speed; he can translate that on to the football field with great quickness at
the line and good instincts," according to Chris Fetters of Scout.com.
Holland is considering Arizona, Florida, LSU, California, UCLA, USC, and
Washington among others.

"It is a great pleasure to have this fine young man selected to represent
his school and community as a U.S. Army All-American," said Colonel Thomas
Nickerson, Director of Strategic Outreach for the U.S. Army Accessions Command.
"He has proven himself to be a superior athlete who, like our Soldiers,
takes pride in making a difference and turning in outstanding performances.
"Our slogan, 'An Army of One,' recognizes the strength of the individual
in achieving team goals. Jamere demonstrates how football, like the Army, makes
you a stronger person not just for today, but into the future. A national
audience will see this when he takes the field in the U.S. Army All-American
Bowl," said Col. Nickerson.
