Bamberg (S.C.) -- Ricky Sapp has always been ahead of the curve. The Bamberg-Ehrhardt defensive end earned many early offers, made an early commitment to Clemson, and now he is the first player from the Carolinas to be added to the roster for January's U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

The classic East vs. West match-up will be played and televised on NBC January 7th at 12:00 p.m. (CST) and will feature the top 78 prep football student-athletes in the country.

Ricky Sapp was one of 400 players nominated nationally and two of 78 selected to participate by the U.S. Army All-American Bowl Selection Committee.
